Tweens & Teens (10-17)
Find your next favorite book, hang out with friends, and make the library your own.
Whether you’re into graphic novels, gaming, crafting, or creative writing, the library has something just for you. Our programs and events are designed to help you explore your interests, discover new ones, and connect with others in a welcoming space.

Keep the Learning Going!

Teen Space
The Teen Space is located downstairs and offers a place for teens to relax, create, and discover their next favorite read. It includes activities such as puzzles, board games, coloring pages, a question board, and more! Teen-specific book displays are also updated monthly.

Volunteen Program
Our volunteens assist our library staff with a variety of tasks, projects, and other essential responsibilities. Volunteens must be at least 14 years old or entering 9th grade.
Our Volunteen Program is currently full, but openings may become available, so check back frequently!

Teen Advisory Board
Our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) exists to help promote library services to teens in our community. TAB members have the following responsibilities:
- Give input on teen programming and collection development
- Write reviews for new books
- Assist with social media content creation
TAB allows teens to build connections, develop leadership skills, and serve the community.
Applications are open now! TAB is limited to students ages 14-18 in grades 9-12.
To apply, email us at mplyouth@marysvillelib.org or stop by the Youth Reference desk! An application and interview is required for admission.
