Reading Programs
Summer Reading Program
Our annual Summer Reading Program (SRP) takes place from mid-May to the end of July. Each SRP brings with it a new theme, a variety of special guests and events, and fun prizes. Anyone can participate in the Summer Reading Program by picking up a reading log from the Youth or Adult Reference desks. Prizes are earned based on the number of days read for youth participants and the number of hours read for adult participants. The final prize for all participants is a raffle entry. Raffle prizes in the past have included items such as:
- $50 Amazon Giftcard
- Giant Squishmallows
- Theme baskets full of games, puzzles, snacks, and more
New prizes are offered each year, so make sure to stop in and check things out!

Winter Reading Program
Our annual Winter Reading Program takes place in December and January. Participation is simple and the same for every participant! Stop by and pick up a Winter Reading Program bookmark. You will use this bookmark to track books read and library programs attended. After 4 books, 4 programs, or a combination of the two, you can return to the library and enter to win one of our raffle prizes
